Stone Temple Pilots Virtual Concert of ‘Purple’ Set for Friday

Stone Temple Pilots will perform their 1994 album, Purple, in its entirety in a virtual livestream concert tomorrow night (Oct. 16) on their website.

The show–which will begin at 8 p.m.–will be streamed on the band’s website, StoneTemplePilots.com.

“Purple”-which featured the hits “Interstate Love Song” and “Vaseline”– debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard album chart and go on to sell 6 million copies

The band features New Jersey natives Dean and Robert DeLeo with “The X Factor” competitor Jeff Gutt on vocals. STP lead singer Scott Weiland died of an accidental drug overdose in 2015.

Tickets are $10; $35 for a t-shirt ticket bundle, and may be purchased through the group’s website.
