Sting Releases New Single from Forthcoming Album, ‘The Bridge’
Sting is giving fans another taste of his forthcoming album, The Bridge, with the release of his new single, “Rushing Water.”
“The song ‘Rushing Water’ is a fitting start to an album that seeks to bridge all of the petty differences that can separate us,” Sting says of the song.
Written by Sting, with music by Sting, Martin Kierszenbaum and Gavin Brown, “Rushing Water” features Dominic Miller and Gavin Brown on guitars, Josh Freese on drums, Martin Kierszenbaum on organ & keyboards, Fred Renaudin on additional synthesizers and Gene Noble on background vocals, according to a release.
In other Sting news, the former Police front man launched a new TV series, “On the Bridge” on Sept. 28. Every Tuesday, a new episode (each between 2 – 3 minutes) will premiere exclusively on Sting.com at 9am/ET. Each episode will remain exclusive to fan club members for 24 hours and then made available for wider viewing on Wednesday’s at 9am/ET. As previously reported, “The Bridge” is set for release Nov. 19.
