Steve Van Zandt Announces New Autobiography Set For Fall
Steve Van Zandt, E Street Band member, leader of the Disciples of Soul, actor, record label head of Wicked Cool Records, and activist, will now add another title to his long list of accomplishments: author.
Van Zandt kept busy during the pandemic writing his memoirs in a tome, “Unrequited Infatuations,” set to publish this September through Hachette Books.
“I’ve seen enough things that could be useful that justified writing them down and sharing them,” Van Zandt said in a statement. “As far as my life story? Well I hope this book explains it to me!”
“What story begins in a bedroom in suburban New Jersey in the early ’60s, unfolds on some of the country’s largest stages, and then ranges across the globe, demonstrating over and over again how rock and roll has the power to change the world for the better? This story,” begins a release.
Book’s publisher Mary Ann Naples, added: “Stevie Van Zandt’s story is a singular arc in American culture. From his vantage point as a witness to the renaissance era of rock & roll to consequential activism and a third act in groundbreaking television, Hachette Books is proud to bring Van Zandt’s odyssey to readers.”
Unrequited Infatuations is available to preorder and will be published in hardcover, e-book, and as an audiobook.
