Steve Miller Featured in New Documentary

Steve Miller Band leader Steve Miller is featured in a new documentary –-Enormous: The Gorge Story–which delves into the history of the Washington State concert venue The Gorge Amphitheatre.

The film is set to air for one night only on July 21, and also features commentary by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and Dave Matthews, who share their memories playing the venue. Also in the film:   performance footage of Bob Dylan, Heart, Elvis Costello and others.

Says Miller in a video: “the shows were always great, were always sold out. We enjoyed the audience and the atmosphere of it.”

McCready also talks in a clip about how attending a Stevie Ray Vaughan show at The Gorge inspired him to pursue playing music seriously, plus recollections of  Pearl Jam’s 1993 show at The Gorge with Neil Young.
