Sammy Hagar Announces Birthday Bash Dates

Sammy Hagar’s birthday bash it on!

The Red Rocker will celebrate his 74th birthday–which is actually on Oct. 13– with two shows in Southern California, he announced.

The celebration commences at the Afterburner Music Festival on October 1 at Huntington Beach, California. Sammy and his current band, The Circle, will headline the festival’s first day. Tickets for the fest are on sale now.

Hagar and The Circle will then head to the Catalina Casino on Catalina Island for the 2021 Birthday Bash, scheduled for October 7, 8 and 9. That show will feature an acoustic performance with a Q and A for fans.

Traditionally, Sammy’s birthday festivities take place at his  Cabo Wabo Cantina, but that was tabled due to Covid-19.

“I fell in love with the island and when we toured the…iconic Catalina Casino with its massive circular ballroom that opens on three sides to the bluest water I’ve seen in California, I got chills and knew we’d be back,” Hagar said of his decision to move the party to that location.

A limited number of VIP tickets for the October 7 event and three-day passes are on sale now. Fans must show proof of vaccination to attend.
