Rolling Stones Honor Charlie Watts on Social Media
It’s been two years since the passing of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, and today (Aug. 24) the band honored his memory with a touching tribute on social media.
“Today, with much love, we remember our dear Charlie. We miss you everyday,” the band wrote on Instagram.
While front man Mick Jagger shared a photo, guitarist Keith Richards did the same with a tribute of his own.
“Charlie Watts was my bed,” Keith wrote. “I could lay on there, and I know that not only would I have a good sleep, but I’d wake up and it’d still be rocking,” adding, “Miss you, Charlie.”
