New Paul McCartney Book Due For Holidays
Just in time for the holidays, a new book will take a deep dive into the life and career of Sir Paul McCartney.
The McCartney Legacy: Volume 1 — 1969–73, co-written by Allan Kozinn and Adrian Sinclair, will be released December 13. At 720 pages long, the book will explore every aspect of the Beatle icon through archival interviews and insights from producers, studio engineers and musicians.
The book–described as “the most exhaustive account of Paul McCartney’s life beyond the Beatles ever committed to paper” digs into his process as he navigated a solo career after the group broke up. It will unearth details of songs “Another Day,” “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey,” “Live and Let Die” and “Band on the Run”; the inner-workings of the band, Wing, and songs he wrote for others.
