‘Light of Day’ Foundation Announces Virtual ‘Winter Love Fest’
Light of Day Winterfest usually takes place in January, but due to the pandemic this year the event has been moved to a season of love–Valentines Day Weekend.
The festival–a benefit raising funds and awareness in the fight against Parkinson’s Disease– is set to take place virtually Feb. 12-14 as a “Winter Love Fest.” The organization has already raised over $6 million over the years.
Previous performers at the Asbury Park locations included Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls, Joe Gruschecky, The Smithereens, Dramarama, Willie Nile and Williams Honor.
Additionally, “Light of Day” Canada is set for Feb. 19-20 with an online lineup that includes: Steve Earle, Wayne Kramer, Willie Nile, Joe Grushecky, Tom Morello, John Cafferty, Jake Clemons, Jesse Malin, Rusty Young, Joe D’Urso, Eddie Manion and Miss Emily.
