Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams Test Positive for Covid-19
Both Jon Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams tested positive for Covid over the weekend, forcing them to pull out of scheduled appearances.
Jon Bon Jovi tested positive for Covid-19, forcing the cancellation of an appearance at a fan event in Miami, Florida.
Jon was set to perform with his solo band, The Kings of Suburbia, at a Runaway Tours event at the Loews South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida, over the weekend when the diagnosis came back.
A representative confirmed that Bon Jovi is doing well, “fully vaccinated and feeling fine.”
Jon is scheduled to receive the Intrepid Lifetime Achievement Award at the Salute to Freedom Gala, which takes place November 10 in New York City aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid.
Adams was slated to recreate his iconic duet with Tina Turner, “It’s Only Love,” with Tina Turner with musician, H.E.R. over the weekend at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, but also tested positive. Country star Keith Urban stepped in for the tribute as a last minute replacement.
A rep for Adams confirmed the positive test and tells Variety that Adams is fully vaccinated and showing no symptoms.
