They may be dead, but their earning power is alive. John Lennon, Queen‘s Freddie Mercury and George Harrison have all topped the Forbes list of wealthiest deceased earners

Lennon’s earnings from the Beatles catalog and placements on television and film place him at No. 9 (naturally) on the list with $13 million. Harrison trails at No. 12 with $8.5 million.

Mercury misses the top 10 by a hair, with earnings of $9 million.
