Watch Bruce Springsteen Perform New Tracks for Virtual ‘Stand Up For Heroes” Event

Bruce Springsteen played two tracks from his recently released album with the E Street Band, Letter to You, at the virtual Stand Up for Heroes benefit supporting the Bob Woodruff Foundation last night (Nov. 18).

Joined by E Street Band member and wife, Patti Scialfa, Springsteen strapped on a guitar to play “House of a Thousand Guitars” and “I’ll See You In My Dreams” before wrapping with a spare arrangement of the song “Long Walk Home” from his 2007 album, Magic.

The event–which blends music and comedy–included appearances by performances and appearances by Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, Mickey Guyton, Jon Stewart, Ray Romano, Tiffani Haddish, Prince Harry and more.

“We’re so excited to be with you again this year,” said Stewart. “Obviously we don’t get to be in Madison Square Garden. No audience. It’s tough. You miss it?”

“We get to be in New Jersey,” Springsteen dead panned.

Funds raised go to the Woodruff Foundation in support of wounded military veterans and their families.
