Indoor Dining Increased to 50 Percent, Governor Murphy Announces
Restaurants and other “personal care businesses” can open at 50 percent capacity next Friday (March 19), Governor Phil Murphy announced today.
The order will increase capacity–which is now set at 35 percent–for dining at restaurants and bars, gyms, casinos, salons and other indoor amusement spots, the governor said.
Additionally, gathering capacity at private homes has doubled to 25 people indoors and crowds of 50 outdoors, with continued exemptions for political activities, religious services, and wedding ceremonies.
