Expanded Reissues of First Two Pretenders Albums Coming in November

The first two albums by The Pretenders will be re-issued as deluxe three-CD sets on Nov. 5, the band announced today.

The self-titled 1979, album, The Pretenders and 1980’s Pretenders II will both feature extras including demos, B-Sides, live performances, BBC appearances and more. Both sets are curated by Pretenders front woman Chrissy Hynde.

A 1980 show recorded in Central Park will be part of the deluxe edition of Pretenders II, according to a release.

 Both reissues feature a high-quality book with brand new liner notes plus rare and unseen photos.
