Elton John Tour Sets Another Record

Elton John’s farewell to the Yellow Brick Road is paved in gold, as the lucrative tour just set a huge record.

The tour, which wraps in Sweden this weekend, is now the first ever to earn $900 million or more, reports Billboard. As of June 18, Sir Elton’s tour has now grossed $910.4 million. 

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour -which already holds the record as the highest grossing tour of all time–started way back in 2018 but was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. It eventually resumed in January 2022.
