Def Leppard Kicks off Stadium Show in Rain, Announces New Coffee Table Book

In conjunction with this summer’s Stadium Tour, Def Leppard will now be the subject of a new coffee table book titled Definitely: The Official Story of Def Leppard .

Released by Genesis, the book will offer  “the most personal and comprehensive record of Def Leppard’s history to date,” with personal recollections from the band’s members as well as rare photos and memorabilia from Def Leppard’s archives, according to a release.

Fans perusing through the pages will sift through photos of handwritten letters, rare vinyl discs, tour memorabilia, press clippings, music video storyboards and more.

Additionally, a signed, limited-edition book-and-album set will also be available from Genesis Publications. You can register at the publishing company’s website to receive more information.

The Stadium Tour, featuring Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett, hit the road Aug. 16 on a rain-soaked evening in Atlanta and will continue with stops in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New York.

Crue drummer Tommy Lee already cracked four ribs, with drummer  Tommy Clufetos filling in until he heals.
