Dave Grohl and Guns N’ Roses Shut Down at BottleRock Festival
Rock and Roll rebel Dave Grohl was shut down at the BottleRock Festival for exceeding the venue’s curfew.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Foo Fighters strapped on a guitar and sat in with Guns N’ Roses during the band’s headline appearance in Napa Valley, California on Saturday night (September 4th) for the show closer of “Paradise City,” but since it was past the 10 p.m. deadline, promoters pulled the plug.
“As soon as the song wandered past the 10 p.m. curfew, and following the second chorus, organizers cut power to the stage. Undeterred, the band continued to play the rest of the song sans amplification, with the crowd singing along with (Axl) Rose when they weren’t booing organizers,” reported Rolling Stones.
