What is the Most Popular Candy in New Jersey?

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the Christmas candy, according to an old song on the “Snoopy’s Christmas” album, and New Jersey’s favorite treats, according to a survey, are surprising.

New Jersey fills those candy dishes with Skittles in the top spot, Reese’s Cup Minis and an old, tried and true standby-Candy Canes-in third place.

CandyStore.com released its annual list of the most popular holiday candies in America.  Peppermint Bark is #1 again, but not quite as popular as last year. Candy Canes lost four #1 spots this year, “including New York, where they were replaced by Snickers and New Hampshire where M&M’s are now the top candy,” the website wrote.

Kit Kats made notable gains, the website writes, taking the top spots in Massachusetts and Oklahoma Both states had candy canes at #1 last year.
