Watch Styx Guitarist Tommy Shaw’s Led Zeppelin Cover

Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw gave fans another fix with an upload of a cover of himself performing Led Zeppelin’s “Going to California.”

The clip of the song from Led Zeppelin IV features a photographic montage of Shaw at home, in performance, and visiting various locations in California, including San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Shaw worked on the song years ago in his home studio in California with collaborator Will Evankovich. The Track was intended as a follow up to a covers album with his band  Shaw Blades, his side project with his ex-Damn Yankees band mate Jack Blades of Night Ranger. It was never released, but Shaw felt now was the time to put it out into the world.
