Tommy Lee, Kevin Smith, Weird Al, Susanna Hoffs to Appear in New Muppets Series

In a cute diversion from the Mötley Crüe drama: drummer Tommy Lee will be joining the muppets in a cameo on the new Disney+ original series The Muppets Mayhem.

The series will follow the Muppets band, The Electric Mayhem, with band members  Dr. Teeth, Animal, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot and Lips gearing up to release their first ever studio album.

In a new trailer for the show, Lee extols the virtues of the band’s influence on rock n’ roll.

“The Mayhem? They taught Mötley Crüe how to shred and party,” Lee says. “They tattooed their name on me when I was passed out,” showing off his famed “Mayhem” on his rib cage.

Chris Stapleton and Lil Nas X also appear in the trial. The upcoming series will feature guest appearances by Billy Corgan, Susanna Hoffs, Paula Abdul, Steve Aoki, Sofia Carson, deadmau5, Kesha, Morgan Freeman, Ben Schwartz, Kevin Smith, Zedd, Danny Trejo, “Weird Al” Yankovic and more.

All episodes of The Muppets Mayhem will be available to stream on Disney+ starting May 10.
