The Sphere Teases Concert Film; Could A U2 Documentary Be Coming?
If you missed U2‘s historic residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas, you may have a chance to experience it with a new concert film.
The venue is appearing to be teasing that this is going to be happening with a triple threat of emoji posts on its social media accounts. The post featured a movie camera, a bucket of popcorn and an arrow with the word soon.
The plot thickened when U2 retweeted the post with eyeball emojis of its own.
U2 was the first band to play the Sphere, opening the venue in September 2023. The show had them performing an Achtung Baby-heavy set accompanied by stunning visuals. They wrapped the residency after 40 shows in March.
