Sting Announces 2024 Philadelphia Dates

Sting will get fancy next March with two shows in Philadelphia, he announced today.

Sting is set to perform with the Philadelphia Orchestra on March 8 and March 9 at the in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

This isn’t the first time Sting has performed with the orchestra. In 2010, he did a set at the Philadelphia Academy of Music’s 153rd anniversary concert.

Sting –who released the album, My Songs, in 2019–enjoys working with symphonies. He recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the album, Symphonicities, which was released in July 2010, and was followed by a live CD/DVD recorded at Berlin’s O2 World in late November. To support the release, Sting embarked on the worldwide Symphonicity tour with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a quintet consisting of Dominic Miller, David Cossin, Jo Lawry, Rhani Krija, and Ira Coleman, led by conductor Steven Mercurio.

presale for the March dates will start October 11 at 10 a.m. ET for members of the Sting.com fan club and orchestra members. The general onsale is Monday, October 16, at 10 a.m. ET.
