Steve Van Zandt and E Streeters to Host TeachRock Event

Stevie Van Zandt and members of the E Street Band –including Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan and Garry Tallent–will participate in a benefit for Van Zandt’s educational TeachRock organization, Aug. 22 in Asbury Park.

According to a message on TeachRock’s website, “Film director Thom Zimny will moderate TeachRock’s 2024 marquee benefit event, showing never before seen videos of the E Street Band and discussing stories from the road with band members.”

Other participants include Springsteen’s sister, photographer Pam Springsteen, photographer Rob DeMartin and author Nicki Germaine.

“Stories From the Road” will take place at Asbury Lanes at 7 p.m., with the “Pictures From the Road” pre-event at The Stone Pony, at 4:30 p.m.
