Smashing Pumpkins to Release Double Album Ahead of Asbury Park Appearance

Smashing Pumpkins are set to be one of the headline acts next September at the Sea.Hear. Now festival in Asbury Park, but before that they are giving fans plenty of time to familiarize themselves with new music.

The band will release its double album , Cyr released on November 27th. The album will feature 20 tracks produced by frontman Billy Corgan. 

The record was made by the reunited lineup of founding members Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and guitarist Jeff Schroeder. 

In addition, a new five-part animated series, In Ashes, will premiere on September 25th along with new music from the album.
