Six Flags Holiday in the Park Returns

This Friday (Nov. 24), Six Flags Great Adventure’s Holiday in the Park returns every weekend through Jan. 1, the Jackson park announced today.

“The tradition of Holiday in the Park immerses families in the warmth and magic of the holiday season,” said Six Flags Great Adventure Park President Brian Bacica. “Six Flags Great Adventure is a thrilling destination where guests can enjoy world-class roller coasters, a million glistening lights, festive holiday décor, entertainment and delicious treats of the season while creating everlasting memories.”

Opening for its ninth season, Holiday in the Park will offer new entertainment, including the new character, The Peppermint Prince, live and local choral and band ensembles in the Holiday Heroes section of the park, and the all new Douglas’s Joyride, a wagon ride with a holiday sing-along through the park as fans enjoy the lights.

Returning favorites include:

  Holiday Magic: A Celebration of the Season & A Holiday Wish List – Feel the magic created by two dazzling shows as the five-story holiday tree comes to life in the heart of the park every 30 minutes;

  Candy Cane Crew – Eyes will twinkle as jolly jugglers showcase spectacular skills;

Yuletide Vibes – Snuggle up with your loved ones as a singing guitar duo melts your heart with cozy yuletide melodies;

 Prancer’s Dancers – Watch Prancer as he gets Santa’s reindeer fit to fly his sleigh;

Rudolph’s Regiment – This strolling symphony is back to keep the holiday cheer continuing all season long;

·Jolly Light Show – Stroll hand and hand through the jolliest of walkways surrounded by the lights and songs of synchronized trees;

·Storytime with Mrs. Claus – Gather as Mrs. Claus delights young and old with fun holiday tales;

 Photos with Santa– Bring a list and check it twice for a jolly visit with old St. Nick through December 23rd;

Peppermint Prince – A Festive, New Character – The Peppermint Princess has found her prince. Peppermint Prince will join her for a meet-and-greet in Gingerbread Junction to share in the holiday festivities;

Delicious Seasonal Flavors

Granny’s Holiday Feast – Granny’s is serving up nostalgic classics like meatloaf, turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing and delicious pies and apple dumplings;

Central Brewhouse – An Irish-inspired menu features Shepard’s pie, Irish stout pot roast, Irish cheddar mac and cheese and potato leek soup;

 MrsClaus Cookies – Grab a fresh baked cookie or holiday cupcake along with a hot cocoa or coffee before enjoying a holiday story with Mrs. Claus herself;

 Holiday Treats – The sweet and savory tastes of the season, including spiked egg nog, holiday cocktail flights, flavored coffee and hot chocolate, peppermint and mocha fudge, seasonal beers, and festive funnel cake can be found throughout the park;

‘NEW’ Polar Bar – Partake in holiday cheer and sip a cozy beverage in this bar located in the Holiday Heroes section of the park;

 Holiday Fire Pits – Eight wood-burning fire pits warm the soul and are popular spots for enjoying a warm hot cocoa and toasting s’mores.
