Safari Resort at Six Flags Officially Open
The new safari glamping resort at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jakson is now officially open, the park announced.
Savannah Sunset Resort & Spa–which sits inside the 350+ acre safari –will offer a offering a “one-of-a-kind, first-class experience for those seeking an indulgent retreat with 20 luxurious glamping tents, along with an exclusive restaurant, spa and conference area,” according to a release.
The safari is home to 1,200+ animals from all over the world. From the resort, guests will be treated to views of giraffes, zebras, ostriches and so many other animals – right from the veranda of their glamping tent.
A glamping reservation will include tw-day tickets to all three parks, including Hurricane Harbor water park, as well as complimentary tickets to Fright Fest from Sept. 7 through Nov. 3.
In addition, guests will get a complimentary made-to-order breakfast, served at the restaurant or in-room, dining at Mahaba Grille, room service, daily small animal encounters, giraffe feedings, lounge and bar and the first Safari Off Road Adventure tour of the day, pick up and drop off at resort (tour through the entire safari). Additionally, guests will get chauffeured access throught the resort and parks.
The resort also offers two add on VIP tours, guided by a member of the Safari Team for an additional fee: Meet the Giants –African Elephants and endangered White Rhinos, and Lions, Tigers & Bears Oh My – Up close views of the lions, tigers, bears and baboons.
As the park moves into the fall and Fright Fest is open, Sept 7 – Nov 3, guests of the resort will receive complimentary access to Fright Fest, Octoberfest and Kids Boo Fest, plus their all-new haunted attractions. Attached is the Fright Fest release – here are the new haunted attractions:
