Ringo Starr to Display Art Work; Signed Copies of Art Book At Pre-Show Gallery

In advance of Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band show at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Etess Arena in Atlantic City Sept. 24, the Beatle icon’s artwork will be featured during a limited-run art exhibition and sale at the casino from Wednesday, Sept. 21, to Friday, Sept. 23.

Proceeds from the more than 40-piece exhibition will benefit the Los-Angeles based Lotus Foundation, which works to fund, support, participate in and promote charitable projects aimed at advancing social welfare in diverse areas, including health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, homelessness and animals in need.

Each piece of artwork will be individually numbered and hand-signed by Starr. In addition to Starr’s art, the gallery will be offering signed copies of his art book “Painting is my Madness Too – The ART of Ringo Starr.”

“Hard Rock Atlantic City continuously strives to offer unique and diverse entertainment experiences for all of our guests,” said Anthony Faranca, President of Hard Rock Atlantic City. “Ringo Starr’s art exhibition will not only showcase his unique talent as an artist, but also is an opportunity to give back to those underserved communities through the Lotus Foundation which we are proud to support.”

The art exhibition is free to attend and will be open Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets to Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band–featuring  featuring Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonette–are available for the show Sept. 24 at HardRockHotelAtlanticCity.com and Ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.
