Ringo Starr, Slash, Cheap Trick, Billy Gibbons Going Virtual for Charity This Saturday
Still looking for virtual entertainment for your viewing pleasure? Ringo Starr is coming to the rescue with a little help from his friends live from The Morrison Hotel Gallery this Saturday (Aug. 15).
The Gallery and Rolling Live Studios will be hosting (De)Tour — a day-long virtual charity festival in association with MusiCares and NIVA. The virtual event will feature performances — which will stream on YouTube Live, from Linda Perry, Slash, Gavin Rossdale, Macy Gray, Sean Lennon, Jesse Malin, Cheap Trick, Taylor Momsen, Badflower, John Oates, David Johansen, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Darryl McDaniels (a.k.a. DMC), Gilby Clarke, Donita Sparks, Matt Sorum, Lzzy Hale, American Idol and Postmodern Jukebox favorite Haley Reinhart and more!
(De)Tour will offer an all-day, unlimited access to festival headliners broadcasting from their own homes and the otherwise vacant stages of legendary music venues throughout the nation. From New York City’s Bowery Electric to West Hollywood’s Whisky a Go Go, The Roxy Theatre and Viper Room. 100% of donations accepted in real-time will go directly to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
