Record Store Day 2021 Features The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam and More

Record Store Day will again be held on multiple dates in an attempt to comply with Covid-19 safety precautions.

The yearly event will take place in various record stores on  June 12 and July 17, with offerings by Tom Petty, AC/DC, Pearl Jam and The Rolling Stones up for grabs.

Over 420 titles will be available, including The Allman Brothers Band, John Fogerty, The Kinks, Mötley Crüe, Styx, Robert Plant, Steely Dan, The Police, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Sammy Hagar, The Cure, The Clash, Elton John, U2, The Who, Crosby, Stills, Nash & YoungDef Leppard, and The Doors.

AC/DC’s Record Store Day offering is a 12-inch picture disc featuring two songs from the band’s 2020 album Power Up: “Through the Mists of Time” and “Witch’s Spell.”

Pearl Jam will release their Ten classic “Alive” as a 12-inch vinyl single and on cassette. Both the formats will include the original promo single version of “Alive,” plus three B-sides, and a cover of The Beatles‘ “I’ve Got a Feeling.”

The Rolling Stones are putting out a reissue of their classic 1971 two-LP compilation Hot Rocks, pressed on yellow vinyl.
