Ozzy Osbourne Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame
Ozzy Osbourne has added another accomplishment to his growing list of accolades.
The Prince of Darkness is now a distinguished member of the Wrestling Hall of Fame!
Ozzy is in good company, being honored alongside Star Trek icon William Shatner. Both were inducted to the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame during the combined 2020 and 2021 ceremony. Osbourne did not appear in person but did record a video “thank you” message for the show.
Ozzy’s Rock and Wrestling connection go way back, according to the Wrestling Observer. He has made several cameo appearances for WWE over the years, including at WrestleMania 2 alongside Captain Lou Albano as mangers of The British Bulldogs in their WWF Tag Team Championship win over Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine.
He also performed live at a May 2007 SmackDown taping in Baltimore, and later served as a guest host for Raw in November 2009.
The event, which aired on Peacock Tuesday (April 6th) was pre-taped at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 1st.
