Never Before Seen Video Eddie Van Halen Surfaces (Watch)

A never-before-seen video of Eddie Van Halen playing a guitar gifted to David Lee Roth’s guitarist Jason Becker, who battles ALS, has surfaced on the internet.

Van Halen visited Becker on August 31, 1996. Becker was not expected to live another five years, but he is still alive, yet immobile, communicating through blinking his eyes.

The video was a promotional shoot for ALS Awareness filmed at the home of Becker-who replaced Steve Vai in the Roth Band.

In other news, TMZ is reporting that Van Halen was cremated on Oct. 28. Van Halen passed away after years of battling cancer on October 6th at age 65.
