Middletown to Honor Steve and Billy Van Zandt with ‘Van Zandt Way’ Signage

Steve Van Zandt and his brother, Billy, will be honored in their hometown of Middletown, NJ, with a street sign commemorating their childhood home on Wilson Avenue., on April 26.

The Van Zandts’ home was located at  263 Wilson Avenue, according to Van Zandt in his memoir, “Unrequited Infatuations.”

The street –which will officially remain Wilson Avenue–will be adorned with Van Zandt Way signs at various locations.

The Van Zandt brothers are expected to attend the April 26 event, according to Middletown Township communications director Tara Berson, who added that Middletown Township native Brian Williams will serve as MC, and that New Jersey Hall of Fame and Middletown Township officials will be in attendance, according to NJARts.net
