Melissa Etheridge and Kevin Smith Events Moved to The Basie Center in Red Bank

Two shows scheduled for the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park--Melissa Etheridge and an event with Clerks director Kevin Smith–are being moved to the Count Basie Center for the Arts, the venue announced today.

Etheridge’s Oct. 24 appearance at the Asbury Music and Film Festival has been cancelled, with a new show announced for June 13 at the Basie Center’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre. The Nov. 6 Paramount Theatre screening of ‘Clerk – The Kevin Smith Documentary’ and post-show Q&A with Kevin Smith moves to Nov. 4 at the Basie Center’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre

Paramount Theatre tickets for both shows will not be honored, and patrons holding tickets for that date may get a refund at the point of purchase. Original ticketholders will receive an email from the Basie Center offering an exclusive presale opportunity. Tickets to the general public will go on sale 10 Sept. 3 at TheBASIE.org.
