Las Vegas Governor Stumps for AC/DC to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo says that when the Big Game comes to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII, there is only one band he wants to see at halftime–AC/DC.

“I was going to yell it out … But yeah, I’m serious. Bring ‘em back,” he said during the Aug. 23 press conference with the NFL.

So far there’s been no news about which artist will headline the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. There has not been a rock act since The Who performed in 2010.

This year, the Super Bowl will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
