Jon Bon Jovi Saves Woman in Nashville

Jon Bon Jovi has had a Superman tattoo forever, but this week he proved to be a real superhero as he saved a woman in crisis poised to jump off of a pedestrian bridge in Nashville.

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared surveillance footage from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. Bon Jovi had been in town to film a new video, when he noticed the woman standing on the ledge.

He then walked over and spoke to the woman, helping her back to safety and sharing an embrace.

“A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety,” the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Later that night, the rocker and his bandmates, David Bryan and Hugh McDonald, performed at JBJ’s Nashville.
