Jon Bon Jovi Announces New Honky Tonk Bar in Nashville
Jon Bon Jovi will be opening up a new honky tonk bar in Nashville this Spring, according to multiple reports.
JBJS Nashville will be located at 405 Broadway. The multi-level venue is a collaborative effort with Bon Jovi, Big Plan Holdings and Josh and Tara Joseph.
The bar will feature five floors and two rooftop spaces, JBJ’s Nashville is designed to be the the tallest and second largest bar by square footage, boasting 37,000-square-feet. The venue will feature a custom menu with food inspired by “Southern cuisine to craft cocktails that capture the spirit of Nashville.”
“Music is at the core of our identity,” reads a description on the venue’s website. “Experience top-notch live performances from authentic bands that embody the soul of Nashville. Whether you’re hosting a small gathering or a grand celebration, our curated musical lineup will set the perfect tone for your event.
The building’s design aligns with the city’s Broadway Historic Preservation Overlay, and has entrances on both Broadway and 4th Avenue. Broadway features many celebrity bars, from Kid Rock to Garth Brook, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson and more.
“We’re looking forward to having a place in Nashville that we call home,” Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement. “When Big Plan Holdings and the team of Josh and Tara Joseph asked us if we were interested, it wasn’t because we were just another rock band, it was because we are a band with deep roots in Nashville. We have had wonderful times in Nashville recording several albums and working with some of the finest people in all the music business. I can’t wait to toast all of Broadway and get to know our neighbors!”
Bon Jovi was recently honored at the MusiCares Gala, with performances by Bruce Springsteen, Melissa Etheridge, The Goo Goo Dolls, Pat Monahan of Train, Jason Isbell, and more, with Paul McCartney and other celebrities in attendance, and a full set by Bon Jovi featuring the debut of a new song, “Legendary.”
