John Mellencamp Teases New Album

John Mellencamp is making the most of his time in rockdown, revealing the has enough material for his 25th studio album.

The 69-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has recorded 19 new songs, including a track he revealed acoustically on his website, “I Always Lie to Strangers.”

,Mellencamp will be releasing a live album and documentary–narrated by Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey— titled The Good Samaritan Tour this spring that focuses on his 2000 trek of the same name.

Mellencamp says on his website that he is “looking to tour in 2022, but that all depends on the pandemic and our ability to recover from it.”
