John Lennon’s Solo Debut Gets Expansive Box Set Release

John Lennon’s solo debut–John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band–is set for an expansive box set release on April 6 with the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band — The Ultimate Collection.

The set -which you can pre-order now, features six CDs and two Blu-ray audio discs, including 87 previously unreleased recordings by the late Beatle and other collectible items.

The 159 track collection–which includes the hit singles “Give Peace a Chance,” “Cold Turkey” and “Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)” — includesbonus tracks and new remixes, plus demos, rehearsal takes, outtakes, jams, studio chatter and more.

Other goodies include a  132-page book, a “War Is Over! (If You Want It)” poster, and two postcards.
