John Cafferty Talks Holiday Show at the Stone Pony, Eddie and the Cruisers, Six Flags and Sly Stallone

John Cafferty called in to chat with 1071 The Boss Midday host Michele Amabile for a fun chat as we gear up for the band’s show at The Stone Pony this Saturday (November 27) in Asbury Park.

The show will be a homecoming for the Rhode Island band, who became famous due to their songs on the Eddie and The Cruisers soundtrack with the hits “On the Dark Side” and “Tender Years.”

Cafferty was busy in quarantine, and even wrote a new song called “Send a Little Message to You.” He talked about that and shared funny stories with Michele about working with Sylvester Stallone for the Rocky IV soundtrack, and reminisced about the band’s big gig at Great Adventure back in the day!
