‘The Bear’ Actor Jeremy Allen White Spotted in Hoboken
Jeremy Allen White–who will portray Bruce Springsteen in the film, “Deliver Me From Nowhere”– has been spotted at an indie book store, Little City Books, in Hoboken this weekend.
According to the Instagram account, White strolled into the store on Sunday.
“Do you know Jeremy Allen White is in town?” reads the post. ” I saw a guy walking out of Little City Books that looked so much like him…but he was behind me and I was trying not to be awkward about it..If now, we have a JAW look alike in town.”
Disney’s 20th Century Studios have given fans a first look of White as Springsteen in a new photo released today (Oct. 28).
Production has already begun on the movie, directed and written by Scott Cooper (“Crazy Heart,” “Hostiles”), “Deliver Me From Nowhere” adapts Warren Zanes’ book of the same name about the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska.”
According to a press release, Springsteen’s recording of “Nebraska” “marked a pivotal time in his life, one that he would only openly talk about decades after its release. It’s regarded as a landmark in his musical odyssey and a source of inspiration for a generation of artists and musicians. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom and without The E Street Band, ‘Nebraska’ is considered one of Springsteen’s most enduring works — a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.”
