How Hard Do We Work in New Jersey?
With Labor Day coming up in just three days, Wallethub has compiled a list of the hardest working states in the country-and New Jersey isn’t even in the top 10.
Just where does the Garden State rank on the list? A lowly 42, according to the survey.
Annual rankings are based on things like employment rates, hours worked, average commute, and how much free time people have in general.
So which is the hardest working state in the union? Alaska tops the list.
The top 10 include: Alaska, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas , Wyoming , Oklahoma , Virginia , New Hampshire and Kansas.
New Mexico ranked last, followed by West Virginia, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
