Help Bring a Soldier Home for Christmas

The holiday season is here, and this Tuesday (Dec. 1) on Giving Tuesday, the charity “Bring A Soldier Home for Christmas” needs your help.

The organization’s charity drive–spearheaded by Forrest Elliott-raises money to pay for airline tickets to bring members of the military home for the holidays. Last year, the 5013c organization was able assist five marines.

“So far we raised enough money to pay for 4 round trip tickets plus give them a few bucks for spending on items,” Elliott shared on Facebook. “I’m happy to say 2 out of the 4 marines are from New Jersey. One is from Bergen County.”

With only one day left in the campaign, the charity is still $3,931 short of its $7,500 goal, as they still have three more New Jersey Marines in need of airfare.
