Golden Globe Nominations Announced
If you see Jeremy Allen White filming in Asbury Park, be sure to congratulate him on his nomination for his performance on The Bear.
The Bear earned five nominations, the most of any show, while Only Murders in the Building and Shōgun scored four noms apiece.
Selena Gomez earned two nominations, one for her role on Only Murders in the Building and her work in Emilia Pérez.
Ariana Grande, nominated for her role as Glinda in Wicked for best performance by a female actor in a supporting role in any motion picture, reacted to her nomination in her Instagram Story.
“oh my goodness oh my goodness… i am floored and honored to be recognized by members of the @goldenglobes. crying (of course) … It’s impossible to find my words, but I am simply, so deeply grateful for this acknowledgement,” she wrote. “i can’t possibly express my gratitution.”
Cynthia Erivo was nominated for Best Actress for her role as Elphaba in Wickedwhile Timothée Chalamet earned a nomination for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
Nominations for the 82nd annual Golden Globes were announced by Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut on Monday, Dec. 9, at 8:15 a.m. ET via a press conference.
The 2025 Golden Globes will take place Sunday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, airing live on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+.
