Gene Simmons of KISS to Appear at Count Basie Center for the Arts
KISS may be retired, but Gene Simmons isn’t resting on his laurels.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will make an appearance at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, May 5.
Simmons is appearing with his solo band, The Gene Simmons Band, which features guitarists Brent Woods (who has previously played with Sebastian Bach and Vince Neil) and Zach Throne (Jerry Cantrell, Corey Taylor), and drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne).
In addition to his solo material, Simmons will perform some KISS classics.
Tickets will go on sale Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales beginning Dec. 4 at 10 a.m.; visit ticketmaster.com.
