Don McLean Celebrates ‘American Pie’ With New “Bookazine”

Don McLean’s iconic song, “American Pie” will celebrate its 50th Anniversary this fall, and the milestone is being marked with a brand new “bookazine.”

 Don McLean’s American Pie: The Official 50th Anniversary Celebration–a 96-page book featuring tales about the anthem and photos of the singer/songwriter throughout the years–is available now in book stores. Additionally, the bookazine will be able to download for free, with a digital copy of the new a cappella version of the song that McLean recorded with country vocal group Home Free.

As previously reported, McLean has co-written a new children’s book inspired by “American Pie” set to be published in September.
