Def Leppard Releases New Single; Announce New Album

Def Leppard will release their 12th album Diamond Star Halos, May 27, and they are giving fans a taste with a brand new single, “Kick.”

The song–described as an “anthemic stadium-ready frenzy kickstarted with driving guitars and bombastic drums woven into its musical fabric”-is one of the album’s 15-tracks, which includes a guest appearance on two-tracks by Grammy Award winner Allison Krauss.

The album was recorded simultaneously in three countries with with Joe Elliot in Ireland, Rick Savage in England, and Phil CollenVivian Campbell, and Rick Allen in the United States

Krauss appears on the songs This Guitar” and “Lifeless, while David Bowie pianist Mike Garson performs on “Goodbye For Good This Time” and “Angels (Can’t Help You Now).

 Def Leppard will co-headline the massive 36 city The Stadium Tour with Mötley Crüe joined by special guests Poison and Joan Jett. The tour lands at Citi Field June 24 in Flushing, New York.
