David Lee Roth Releases New Track

David Lee Roth is kicking off June with new music.

Diamond Dave has released a new song, “Giddy Up,” one of tracks five included in “Diamond” Dave’s 2020 online comic, The Roth Project,  co-written and recorded with guitarist John 5 at L.A.’s Henson Recording Studios a few years back.

Other musicians backing the former Van Halen front man on the tune are original David Lee Roth Band drummer Greg Bissonette, Brett Tuggle on keyboards, Luis Conte on percussion, with John 5 also handling bass duties. 

David Lee Roth‘s last solo album was 2003’s Diamond Dave, which was released on Magna Carta Records — a subsidiary of Warner Bros.
