Courteney Cox Celebrates ‘Born in the USA’ With Fun Instagram Post

Courteney Cox is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s multi-platinum album, Born in the USA, with an homage to her appearance in the “Dancing in the Dark” video.

Cox took to Instagram with a short clip of herself starts wearing a sweatshirt, with text on the clip reading, “asking my mom how she danced in the 80s” as Bronski Beat plays in the background.

After a few less than stellar moves, Cox shakes her head no, unzips her sweatshirt to reveal a Born in the U.S.A. concert T-shirt like the one from the original video and starts recreating her dance.

She captioned the clip, “1980’s dancing…in the dark”

Cox got plenty of love in the comments for her post, including her Friends BFF Jennifer Aniston.

Released June 4, 1984, Born in the U.S.A. was one of Springsteen’s most successful albums, selling over 30 million copies worldwide.
