Bruce Springsteen Releases New Song, “Addicted to Romance” (Listen Below)
Bruce Springsteen may be sidelined from touring, but that hasn’t prevented him from releasing new music.
Earlier today (Sept. 29), Springsteen released a new song, “Addicted to Romance.” The song is written for the movie “She Came to Me,” co-starring Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei and Anne Hathaway.
The song, which features wife and E Street Band member Patti Scialfa on vocals, also includes Ron Aniello on keyboards and production, Benjamin Lanz on trombone, Kyle Resnick on trumpet, Bryce Dessner producing the orchestra, and André De Ridder conducting the orchestra.
The film “tells the story of composer Steven Lauddem (Peter Dinklage), who is creatively blocked and unable to finish the score for his highly anticipated comeback opera. At the behest of his wife Patricia (Anne Hathaway), formerly his therapist, he sets out in search of inspiration. What he discovers is much more than he bargained for or ever imagined,” according to a release.
The movie will be released on Oct. 6.
