Bruce Springsteen Nominated for Grammy Award for ‘Only the Strong Survive’

Bruce Springsteen is nominated for a Grammy Award, but not in a category one would expect.

Springsteen is nominated for his  November 2022 album of R&B and soul covers, Only the Strong Survive, in the traditional pop category.

The record is competing against Liz Callaway’s To Steve With Love: Liz Callaway Celebrates Sondheim; Rickie Lee Jones’ Pieces of Treasure; Laufey’ Bewitched; Pentatonix’s Holidays Around the World; and Sondheim Unplugged (The NYC Sessions), Vol. 3, featuring various New York-based cabaret performers.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has so far won 20 Grammys, with his last win in 2010.

The awards ceremony will take place Feb. 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
