Bruce Springsteen Movie Starring Jeremy Allen White to Film in Asbury Park Next Week

Jeremy Allen White will be in Asbury Park this month filming scenes for “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the forthcoming film about the making of Bruce Springsteen’s “Nebraska.”

It is scheduled to film in Asbury Park from Monday, Dec. 9, to Friday, Dec. 13 — and then again on Monday, Dec. 16, according to casting calls by Grant Wilfley Casting.

Scenes will be filmed on the boardwalk, the Stone Pony and Convention Hall on Ocean Avenue, and Frank’s Deli and Restaurant on Main Street according to sources familiar with the production schedule.

Prep work has begun, including construction of a replica carousel in the Carousel House on the southern end the boardwalk, Pat Schiavino of the Asbury Park Public Arts Commission told the Asbury Park Press.
